What is the Best Time to Cruise?

There is research to be done for every destination. What will the weather be? Are there any local festivals taking place? Will it be too crowded? Can I really cross blank off my bucket list? What’s the best hotel to stay in? And can I get that time off work? While I can’t help with the last question I can help with all the others.

Trying to decide on a vacation destination can be difficult, with choices from tropical getaways, to exotics in the orient, to history rich Europe or exploring the wilderness of Alaska it can be hard to pin down a location, much less the best time to visit. With dozens of cruise lines covering the whole world you can see and do more than before with the convenience of unpacking only once. Your floating hotel moves with you. Not in the mood to sightsee, spend the day relaxing on the ship being pampered or making new friends by the pool.

JANUARY – APRIL: A great time to visit warmer climates for sunshine and relaxation. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, Carnival, and Princess offer many Caribbean itineraries. Azamara offers cruises to Australia and navigates the Panama Canal along with Holland America who also has some stops in Mexico.

MAY – AUGUST: The warmer months provide an excellent opportunity to visit more northerly destinations. You may choose Azamara, Disney, Celebrity or Princess to visit the Mediterranean or the Greek Isles. And of course Alaska is on most bucket lists with  Princess, Norwegian, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and many more visiting this must do destination all summer long. Consider adding on a land tour to see more of Alaska on your visit to cover more of the US’s largest state. The Caribbean continues to be a popular summer destination with itineraries covering all parts from Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Disney, Carnival and many more.

SEPTEMBER – DECEMBER: These months offer some great escapes. How about a Paul Gauguin cruise in Tahiti, an Norwegian Cruise Line cruise in the Hawaiian Islands, or a Lindblad expedition to Antarctica? AMA Waterways and Viking River Cruises offer European river cruises and the Christmas Caribbean cruises are a great way to celebrate the holidays in style.

Now is the time to book for great offers from many of these cruise lines. Contact Worth The Trip Travel today so we can start planning your escape.
